Our Story

George Burton was a full blooded Choctaw Indian from Georgia.  He was a hard working cotton grower and blacksmith near the cane river, Louisiana area.

He met and married Rebecca Williams the granddaughter of prominent Natchitoches. Louisiana doctor

Rebecca also known as “Grandma Becky was born about 1840 with flaming red hair
